If the clothes make the man…

I want him to wear steel-toed boots: the sign of a man who isn’t afraid to work hard.

I want him to wear sandals: the sign of a man who takes long walks.

I want him to wear Levi’s and shorts: the sign of a man who knows how to relax.

I want him to wear a tuxedo: the sign of a man who cleans up nice, and has good taste.

I want him to wear gloves: the sign of a man who knows how to garden and do yard work.

I want him to wear hearing aids: the sign of a man who knows how to listen.

I want him to wear an apron: the sign of a man who knows his way around a kitchen.

I want him to wear band-aids: the sign of a man who knows how to take care of people.

I want him to wear braces: the sign of a man who can bite his tongue.

I want him to wear a watch: the sign of a man who understands “forever” isn’t the same as “whenever”.

I want him to wear his heart on his sleeve: the sign of a man who says how he feels.

I want him to wear a cowboy hat, and tip it: the sign of respect toward others.

I want him to wear a fur coat: the sign of a man who loves animals.

I want him to wear a ring: the sign of a man who wants to let others know he’s taken.

Most importantlyI want him to wear the Armor of God: the sign of a man who knows not only where he stands, but Who He stands with.

And Frankly, My Dear… that’s all she wrote!
