Yesterday was an extremely interesting day. I was supposed to work a few extra hours behind the desk, making client calls, that sort of thing. But it didn’t turn out that way. When the Boss showed up, he was already in a heated discussion on his cell phone. Turns out, there was a Community Vendor Fair going on. In our parking lot. And we weren’t invited. But the competitor was. That is, until a good friend spoke up and happened to mention our existence. So then the tables turned. Literally. Another VIP Outing

I’m heading out in less than one half-hour. It’s that time again. Movie time with the VIPs. Tonight is the midnight premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. About four times a year, we get a small group together, buy advance tickets, and hit up the local Cinemark for the premiere of whatever movie premieres at midnight. In the last two years, we’ve seen Eclipse, New Moon, Alice in Wonderland, and tonight is POTC4.
