Well, it took about three weeks of high humidity to combine with southerly winds, but we finally got our thunderstorm this afternoon!
It didn’t last long (huge disappointment) but brought a lot of noise as the wind ushered in about two minutes of hail before turning back to “just” rain.
My flower bed has been thriving in the humidity. And as soon as the rain stopped, the birds came out to play.
And Frankly, My Dear… that’s all she wrote!
Love these pics! I love bird watching-from my deck! LOL!! We had a thunderstorm too and it prevented me from getting my blooming onion at the fair!!

We almost never get thunderstorms. And they only last a few minutes, which makes it worse. I love a good thunderstorm; am hoping for another one this evening! Thanks for the comments.
I love how you are incorparting more photos in your blogs. :) Ps: Your daughter has grown into such a beautiful young lady. You are a great mother, writer and friend!!
Thank you, Jess. I am so blessed with my blogging and my family.

Love the pics! They keep me reading, err… looking! That’s some huge hail! I didn’t see anything over here at the office! My pooch killed one of those birds :( Poor birdie family who is missing mom/dad!
Aw, poor birdie family indeed! I’m really loving the photography aspect.

Hail!
We also had crazy weather .. we had lightning that hit our backyard, blew out our transformer. Had no electricity for a day and no internet and no cable. We missed all the olympics and my blog has been silent too. We just got it back yesterday . And so checking on all my emails now.
If anything good.. it gave us time to unplug which is always good for the soul.

Oh, goodness, Alma! When I “unplug” I still have my cell phone. That must have been so scary to have it hit in the back yard!
