What could be easier than making a drop cookie? How ’bout making a drop cookie from a mix? That’s right, you heard me. Today I took the easy way out and used a pre-mix for our cookies. And you know what? I’d do it again!
Who hasn’t heard of Betty Crocker? Their product is a staple in almost any kitchen. And with the busyness of the upcoming Holiday season, they’re definitely invited to my house any time.
I started the mix by hand, but soon realized my KitchenAid could do it better.
After lining the cookie sheets with parchment paper, I used my cookie scoop to drop the mix.
The cookies baked for eight minutes then cooled on the pans for one more.
After they completely cooled on the racks, we frosted them with Betty Crocker Cream Cheese Frosting.
And then we enjoyed them. Well, some of them. The rest… I hope they make it through the week.
But with Betty Crocker’s easy pre-mix, I’m okay if they don’t.
And Frankly, My Dear… that’s all she wrote!
They look amazing! Almost enough to actually forego not liking pumpkin and eat em all up! And um, I can’t find your cookbook. Gonna search high and low, but if I don’t, then I’ll need to buy another!
I’ll be making plenty of other cookies, too, Janice. Don’t worry; you might even just get some! Let me know if you need a cookbook; I can be in that area next week.
