#DoingTheWriteThing Update: December 17, 2014

I sometimes feel like a circus performer, juggling more plates than a normal person would, yet artfully keeping them up in the air without fail.

For the most part, anyway. The law of averages dictates that sooner or later, the law of gravity will take hold of one or more items and, well, you know . . .

Still, I enjoy working so many angles with my writing. Social Media and Marketing for others. Promoting my own projects. Running New Inklings Press. And, of course, actually writing.

It’s when I don’t make time for writing that the rest of … read the rest. . .

#DoingTheWriteThing Recap: October 26, 2014

Sometimes I feel I haven’t done enough to advance my writing, but looking back at the two months since I started my GoFundMe campaign, I realize everything’s a matter of perspective.

You can click on the link or photo above to follow my progress with #DoingTheWriteThing, without having to make a donation. I truly appreciate support in all forms!

At the beginning of the year, my only resolution was to do life better.

“What’s the Word?” Wednesday: Aaron Gansky on Magic and Writing

Welcome back to “What’s the Word?” Wednesdays.

What's the Word? WednesdayWwW was a weekly Blog Hop, where other bloggers were invited to link up their Wednesday posts and share comments on what’s going on in their worlds.

That was then, this is now. Then, complicated back links and sharing was required. Now, WwW will feature a guest blogger every other week.

This week’s guest blogger is my good friend and writing mentor, Aaron Gansky. He’s married to my long-time friend Naomi. He teaches high school English. He writes. And he plays Magic: The Gathering.

He’s teaching me how to nerd out on … read the rest. . .
